Project Area: approximately 900km2 Seismic Network: 50 stations Recording Period: 11 months Number of Seismic Events located/used: 2500/1860
The scope of this project was to provide coarse, but reliable 3D P-wave velocity and Vp/Vs models, adequate for a reconnaissance stage mapping of an area of about 900km2 around the Delvina Gas field.Having in mind that the local seismicity level is rather high, at the end of this phase, we expected to have accurate subsurface mapping of the study area. This project was successfully completed in 2009 and a second phase project was launched in 2011.
