Another useful tool, part of our exploration toolbox, applied – like gravity surveys – as an alternative non-seismic methodology. Marshaled both in cases of tectonically inactive areas and in the cases where the target is to further constrain Passive Seismic Tomography data, using additional geophysical parameters.
Seismotech has already successfully completed Magnetotelluric Surveys, mainly as part of complex multi-disciplinary exploration programs. The resistivity distributions, deriving from such surveys, have successfully been jointly evaluated with other geophysical parameters, providing very useful information on given areas of interest.
