Geothermal Passive Seismic Monitoring Project

SEISMOTECH is participating in a Geothermal Passive Seismic Monitoring Survey in Delft. A network consisting of 32 seismic stations, has been installed aiming to observe production characteristics, possible microearthquakes due to production and to provide structural imaging of the investigated volume using Seismic Interferometry techniques (if the data can sustain such an application).

The project is very challenging, taking into consideration that the stations are installed in a Greenhouse area, very close to the city, where civil and operational noise is expected to be high.
